Privacy Policy

Who I am
Peak Business Support is run by Jessica Bryson, a sole trader based in Hampshire, UK. I'm responsible (the "data controller") for any personal information you share through this website. If you have any questions about this policy, email me at jessica@peakbusinesssupport.co.uk.
What I collect
When you use the contact form, I collect your name, email address, phone number (only if you choose to give it) and your message.
When you visit the site, some technical information is collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts, which receive your IP address so text displays properly.
Why I use it
I use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if we decide to work together, to arrange and deliver that work. The legal basis for this is my legitimate interest in responding to you, and taking steps at your request before we agree any work.
I don't add you to mailing lists, send you marketing, or sell or share your details with anyone for their own use.
Where it's stored
This website is hosted by Squarespace, which processes contact form submissions and sends them to my business email, provided by Google Workspace. Some data may be stored outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where that happens, it's protected by recognised safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries for up to 12 months and then delete them, unless we go on to work together. Client records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the work and meet legal and tax requirements, usually up to six years.
Cookies
This site uses essential cookies so it works properly. Analytics cookies, which help me understand how the site is used, are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can:
ask for a copy of the personal information I hold about you
ask me to correct anything that's wrong
ask me to delete your information
object to, or ask me to limit, how I use it
ask for your information in a format you can take elsewhere
To make a request, just email me and I'll respond within one month.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please contact me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
